Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage, work in a similar way. Sites use them to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or measure traffic. This page lists every cookie and storage key Calculator Dude uses, what it does, and how long it lasts.

We use as few cookies as possible. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no social-media trackers. The only optional cookies are anonymous analytics, and they are switched off until you actively accept them.

One local-storage key is required for the site to respect your choices. It is never sent to any server.

• cd-consent stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so the cookie banner does not reappear on every page. It persists until you clear your browser data.

If, and only if, you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets a small number of cookies to count visits and measure which pages are useful:

• _ga distinguishes one browser from another for visit counting. Lasts up to 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> keeps session state for Google Analytics 4. Lasts up to 2 years.

We anonymize IP addresses and do not share this data with advertising networks. See our Privacy Policy for how the resulting data is used.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, analytics, ad storage, ad personalization, and ad user data are all set to denied by default, so no analytics cookies are written. When you press Accept, only analytics storage is switched on. We never enable the advertising categories.

To be explicit, Calculator Dude does not use:

• advertising or retargeting cookies;
• social-media tracking pixels;
• cross-site or third-party fingerprinting;
• any cookie that sells or shares your data.

You are in control at all times:

• To change or withdraw consent, clear site data for calculatordude.com. The banner will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again.
• You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the analytics cookies will not affect any calculator on the site.

If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
